The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) continues to make our city a safe place to live. The LEPC is composed of industry representatives, city and school district officials, police and fire personnel, and interested citizens whose goal is to prevent emergencies, and to prepare the community to best protect itself in the event a chemical emergency occurs.
This web site is one such example. It contains instructional pages and important information you should know in the event of a chemical emergency. Each of us has a personal responsibility to protect our families and ourselves by knowing what to do in a chemical emergency.
The City of Albuquerque and the County of Bernalillo are fortunate to have such a dedicated group of professionals working to keep our city safe. With your continued support, we expect the LEPC to continue to be a national leader in community awareness and emergency response.
Please use this web site and let's work together to keep our Community safe!
